Caravan Route – Year 1

We’ve come to regard our first year in the caravan as something of a “shake-out cruise”, fine tuning how we like the caravan to be set up, what we need and what we don’t. We knew nothing when we started, learning mostly by our mistakes and the advice of others, perhaps we feel less like complete novices now.

So – here is the route we took this year:

Caravan Route Yr 1 Ver 4

Obviously we didn’t go in straight lines or over the sea but my map drawing skill are limited!

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that the map posted previously didn’t include Cambridge (I know, you were too polite to say).

If you want to find a post about a particular area:

Clicking on May 2013 will take you to the entries about Hereford and Brecon but also includes buying the caravan in Derby.

June 2013 takes us to Cheddar Gorge and Swanage with entries on Weston-Super-Mare and Wells as well as some rambling on awnings.

July 2013 saw us in South Wales, Tewkesbury, The Lake District, Carlisle and Berwick-Upon-Tweed.

August 2013 we were still in the North East including Whitby and York before heading south for Cambridge and Norfolk.

September 2013 we were in Suffolk, London and Henley.

You won’t find a tourist or site guide, that’s not what this blog is about. It is more of a diary, a record for ourselves and those who have an interest in what we’re getting up to. If you enjoy reading it then that’s me happy.
